Wave Software for
Medmont Topographers
Wave offers Medmont owners the complete set
of features that Scout Topographer owners enjoy. The only difference
between the two systems is during the first step of integration of the
topography data into the initial Wave design. Below are the steps taken
with a Medmont Topographer to begin the design process. At the bottom of
this page is a link for obtaining Wave software.
Highlight the Patient's Record and then Select the Links menu option.
Select the Wave Contact Lens System Link When
it is Exposed.
Click On the Type of Lens You Wish to Design, GP (from Topography), Soft (from K Readings) or Custom Soft (from Topography).
Wave is Loaded with the Map Displayed in the Medmont Application. Enter the Rx and Begin Your Design Process.
When saving successive lens designs (File, Save) for the same patient, make sure you do not change the file name. Wave's automated order tracking system determines warranty eligibility from the file name. If you wish to keep successive designs for reference, open the original design and resave it with a new name. Then reopen the original design file again make the necessary changes and save it. This is the the "new" file (but with the original file name) from which you will order warranty lenses.
